Large scale democracy is a scam. People never know what is going on... and, in effect, leave the governing to the elites — who can’t seem to resist ripping them off.
Governmental bureaucracies and Politicians can't just take over the country; they need to be enabled. Statolatry is the great government enabler and the Kryptonite to a Constitutional Republic. It doesn't matter what poison the Statist chooses (Fascism or Socialism) the result is the same; death and destruction. Look around at the folks comprising our society. Nine out of ten folks are card carrying Statists and economic degenerates. Neither Tribe is acknowledging the $35 trillion elephant in the room. Vote all you want, but the ultimate verdict is already cast in stone. Its not if, its when. Embrace the collapse, suicidal destruction would be the best gift we can leave the next generation.
POTUS Reagan reflected on the wisdom in the old Russian proverb “dovorey no provorey—trust, but verify.”
It is worth adding, “inspect what we expect”. Every County Sheriff’s Department in the USA ought to assign Deputies to pick up ballots at polling places and deliver to a dedicated Deputy at the ballot count location(s).
We can already see the gameplan. Repeat the Narrative (i.e. Lie) ad nauseam; its an extremely close race. Once the Sheep buy into the Narrative then cheat like hell. I'm sure every illegal will be unaware that they voted multiple times. Once the Administrative State takes over a country (November 22, 1963) you can't vote them out. We're no different than any other Banana Republic. The only way to rid yourself of these miscreants is to kill them via a Revolution. Don't think we're quite there yet, but hopefully I get to see this within my lifetime. Fact is, no one will come to the defense of these miscreants once they start getting filled with lead. So for the next four years we have a daily Word Salad from the Village Bicycle to try and digest. That's our prize for living in a country chock-full of economic degenerate Statists.
correct however, most of our money is going to those who do.
I do understand Kryptonite. I'm all in on the Sprout uranium. Copper And of course the new addition to the portfolio KRNT The Kryptonite Mining venture I've owned it for a long time and I'm thrilled that Tom has just added it to the official list. He is a great portfolio manager and as far as I'm concerned a Super man.
Statolatry is a religion much like Christianity, Islam, Judaism. The adherents (i.e. Statists) of Statolatry worship the State. Christianity was once the most dominant religion in America. Not anymore; now it's Statolatry. A Statist will never support reducing the size and scope of the State. Things will need to get much worse before Society embraces a complete cleanse; Exorcism. The words getting out there though. Many people now understand that Statolatry and their Statists are the great enablers of the State and the root source of their misery.
We act like the Foxes, Elites, Deep State, whatever/whoever know what they're doing. They're making it up as they go along, too, probably amazed it's gone on this long. Hey, Everybody! Time to brush up on your J.D. Salinger. Best always. PM
I assume Bill has a pretty good number of people working for him. So I wish he or one of his analysts would go through the U.S. Defense budget and tell us what he would cut and what he would keep. For example, he's come down pretty hard on one of the F-35 fighter jet types, but doesn't tell us if he thinks it's something that should be part of the U.S. defense arsenal. I think Bill would make his case much more effectively if he would be more comprehensive in his analysis of U.S. defense.
If I was POTUS, I would gradually try to pull away from most of the world and have an Americas Policy; i.e., trade only with Latin America and Canada, and forget about the rest of the world. I would sit behind our nuclear sub force (aka the ultimate peace keepers), and our military would only protect the Americas, especially the sea lanes because of trade. I think the Americas would have enough energy, food, and other necessities to be self-sufficient. I would tell the rest of the world that they can blow themselves up for all I care because the U.S. no longer cares how self-destructive they become. That our mantra will now be "We Do Business, Not War." And if the Latin American countries didn't play ball, we would force them to. Okay, I'm fantasizing, but I think my plan & policies would be better for the U.S. than the mess it's in right now.
Hi Frank, Mark here. Agree conceptually 💯 re: “…mantra will now be ‘We Do Business, Not War.’ “ Our next generation can learn from the ol’ school of hard knocks. For example, war fighting is a symptom.
War = a “diversionary foreign policy” to distract taxpaying citizen populace’s attention away from domestic conditions, problems, predicaments, and failures of policy, diplomacy, statesmanship, economics, debt etc., et.al. ad infinitum. Not the least of which is war for defaulting on debt issued by the old regime and non-payment of debt by a new regime. Perfect example is 🇫🇷France 🇫🇷 now (arguably) in its 5th Republic iteration. Go figure, right.
And to your point Frank about drilling down to “inspect what we expect” in monitoring budget(s); personally, I support what and how Open the Books goes about its work. https://www.openthebooks.com/
My fellow readers, if interested, can find some examples of Open the Books’ endeavors in just this past month in 2024. There is an impressive archive which Open the Books maintains.
Totally agree in theory. But a modern technological economy needs certain rare materials to keep progress moving ahead, and in some cases, allow us to defend ourselves, since ignoring the world might not necessarily mean they will ignore us. If we allow, for example, Russia/China or our enemies in general to take control of smaller countries that have those resources, then we might be in trouble. Wish it weren't true that this may be the reality, but there it is.
This is the problem with Bonner's analysis as you point out in your first paragraph - he is full of generalities and lean on specifics to justify his generalities. This is why I push back on him so often. Most of what he writes in what he refers to as the "megapolitical" realm is unsupported by any facts or specifics.
If you want to see what America is becoming watch the movie "Idiocracy" with Luke Owen and Mya Rudolph. Its hilarious and not to spoil it but Americans become so dumbed down by the establishment they elect a wrestling champ as President.
I was surprised not to see any internet memes comparing Hulk Hogan's speech to that of President Camacho. I guess we can say that Idiocracy has become a documentary.
The US 'brought back no treasure'? Are you serious, Bill? American banks--through the govt., World Bank and IMF--sank their teeth into virtually all the developing nations. Didn't you read Confessions of and Economic Hit Man....?
A sobering missive to end the week. It was essentially a hard slap on the chin - today's reality is so full of vacuity. Sitting here in Alabama life continues for us proles and we do enjoy our days. The question that begs is - for how long? It is the ol' "so far, so good" and the politicians on the Potomac most likely see it the same way. There are always consequences to actions and America will not escape its consequences - it is only a matter of when. And, everybody hopes "not today"! Unfortunately, most of us proles do not have the ability (financially or knowledge) to prepare for what lies ahead - oh, so many roads. The time for America is running out. Sad for us who have been born as the Empire fades. Not going to be a gentle ending. Reminds me of Rudyard Kipling's Gunga Din and we proles are all "Bhisti" to the elites and deep state.
Oh, come on, bro... it's not like we didn't see this coming. It's been underway since 1964. We've had it better than most, and no one gets out alive. Best always. PM
Paul - wholeheartedly agree - for being proles in this world it has been the best. There are far and away much worse places to be born and raised. On one hand we should be thankful and on the other sad that it is ending. Oh - America will still be here but, unfortunately, just a sad memory of what she could have become. Us humans just can't get out of our own way. It is a sorry state what we will be leaving behind for our descendants.
Personally, Paul, I think one can be both - glad and sad. For this ol' prole so glad I got to live the life I have. Flying single seat attack aircraft off a carrier (USS Oriskany) and becoming a (somewhat) successful small businessman. And, I can be sad it is over and my kids and grand-kids won't have the years I have had. Such is life - more than happy for my shot and wish those that go after us would have similar opportunities.
OK, sure. My markers: 1964, last year for silver coins, and year of the Civil Rights Act, where one segment of society became set apart and was forever exalted above the rest. End of the American Idea. 11/22/63 was an inside job, as are most of these dreadful occurrences. Best always. PM
Yeah, divide and conquer keeps the insiders on the job and in business. Abortion, Israel, Ukraine, DEI; all bullshit divide and conquer tactics. Amazing to watch the Tribalists continually fall for this nonsense. One thing we know for sure; balancing the budget and shrinking the government won't be one of their tactics :-)
So true, Mr. An; especially when you talked about us proles not having the ability to do much about America's decline. In the late-1990s, I wish I had kept a copy of an opinion piece from a conservative magazine columnist who tended to think outside the box. I think it was someone like Michael Barone, Pat Buchanan, Steve Forbes, Cal Thomas, etc. This person talked about how it had become increasingly difficult to exact major change in the U.S. because of how populous the U.S. had become. (And, now over 25 years later, it has gotten much more populated, especially with third-world immigrants and their Government-Is-God cultural mentality.) Now that was written when the U.S. was not so debt-ridden and much more free. In ten-to-twenty years from now, when the economy collapses, if not sooner, massive change could even take place in a hugely populated country like the U.S. But what worries me is: What will the change be?
Well, that is what happens as the Empire grows. The elites and deep state absolutely want no changes. They want to keep extracting their "fees" and maintaining and growing their privileges. It becomes a one-way street to destruction. Just the way us humans are built when Empires come into existence. Good question - what will the change be? Ugly for sure. The elites / deep state will not go peacefully in the night. They would rather rule over our ashes than relinguish their privileges. The French Revolution is a nasty example. The elites know that when enough of us proles get fed-up because we can't pay our bills and life has become exhausting - rise up we will and that will be a horrific end for the elites / deep state - "off with their heads" so to speak. To this Empire, the change will be the rise of the East. The Financial Empire will be replaced by the Commodity Empire. We are seeing that now - most of the world besides laughing at our Keystone Cops election - are rapidly preparing to ditch the US$. Too many wars, too many sanctions, and stealing other countries US$. The US$ is the strongest fiat currency in the soap factory but in the not to distant future a gold-backed currency will again become the linchpin of a divided world order. The US$ isn't going away but it is going to become a fragmented image of its once dominance. The US Government will continue printing money and the Feds will reduce their rate. But the majority of the World is moving on. My hope peacefully but the U.S. military industrial complex wants no part of a peaceful transition. War is what they do and what worries me - how do we have any chance of changing that?
WF, it appears you may be getting your wish. Things are beginning to unravel and with the fractional reserve system our financial industry has developed over decades, it is not going to be a pretty sight. The Feds will reduce rates and inflation (the hyper type) will be the rule of the day. Glad you are prepared as well as you can be. Just sad to see it happening but it is time I suspect. As you say - "Bring It!"

In fact the only direct confrontation between US and Russian arms has taken place 2008. In Georgia. Georgia then had around 30 F16 and there Pilots had trained five years at that time. So one consider them capable to operate them.
Russia took out all of them with their SU's and did so without any own loss.
I am pretty sure this event didn't went unnoticed.
And is my best explanation for the extremely long hesitation of the West to provide them to Zelensky.
Fuethermore, US still doesn't deliver a single plane. Leaves it entirely to it' s "allies".
The military-industrial complex (MIC) like many (most maybe?) facets of modern life has morphed into the military-industrial-congressional-intelligence-media-academia-think tank (MICIMATT) complex; I reckon that these newer additions to the grifters saw what Willie Sutton did and went "where the money is." I wonder when will the mark(s) figure it out and do more than just beotch about it?
Continued deficit spending is a Pox on America. Congress spends money left and right on items that they obviously do not understand. Continuing wasteful spending has not been fully addressed since WWII or before. Term limits for Congress would be a good start in turning the ship around instead of letting it sail in continuous circles with no thought of pulling into port for maintenance. Congress presents as a gaggle of fools with no purpose per se. Maybe if they designed budgets like most families in America, they might see the errors of their ways. The seriousness of deficit spending and its consequences are swept under the rug daily. May God continue to bless America in spite of those who continually perpetuate deficit spending.
Totally agree, ain't nothing wrong with being "weird", Frank. Shred international trade agreements until we get our respects, fair terms, and some damned boarder security starting with South America. End foreign aid while we're at it.
I think you're onto something that actually makes absolute sense, considering the circumstances. 🔥🎸
I'd like to hear your take on confirmed, zio-converso Javier Milei ...
Shipping (supposedly only a "portion") Argentina's, Central Bank gold reserves abroad ... to an as of yet, not publicly disclosed location?? Did his Chabbad-Lubivitcher, zio-owners get Mileikowsky (same original surname, as the murderous genocider, Bemjamin [Mileikowsky] Nutinyahoo) to play the
gold reserve, re-hypothication scam with the BIS ???
Generals always fight the last war. The drone war in Ukraine fortells the future. You can destroy a $10 Million tank or a $100 Million air defense system with a $1000 FPV drone from Aliexpress carrying a RPG7 warhead.
They need the wars to maintain employment, and they need to inflation to cover (up) the costs of the wars.
The Forever Wars are now national policy.

@Mark.
Would love to understand your afterthought's.
Sadly no idea what they say
The business of America USED to be BUSINESS
.
I don't know what you can call this " military/industrial/surveillance/think tank/Wall Street/university elites" complex ... the KNIFE business?

The military-industrial complex (MIC) like many (most maybe?) facets of modern life has morphed into the military-industrial-congressional-intelligence-media-academia-think tank (MICIMATT) complex; I reckon that these newer additions to the grifters saw what Willie Sutton did and went "where the money is." I wonder when will the mark(s) figure it out and do more than just beotch about it?
"a $2 trillion F-35 fighter plane"
Insert "This is fine" meme here.

C Eti, is this ZH’s link you had in mind - https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2024-08-02/liber-dud-milei-government-begins-shipping-gold-reserves-overseas
Mr. Bonner & Associates,
I'd like to hear your take on confirmed, zio-converso Javier Milei ...
