Bill as always simple and clear. I voted for ol donnie 3 times as a clear choice over the competition….

However, donnie is no capitalist and will in the end be a massive utter failure. He in his 2 terms will add more debt to our country than virtually ALL prez’s before him. That is no capitalist! Capitalism is profit based on free exchange not smothering debt.

On top of that this new “venture” selling nothing but getting billions in outside “donors” will make hunters exploits seem positively tame in comparison.

I am afraid ol donnie will be the only one richer when his term is done, the rest of us will have $46 TRILLION to deal with!

I wish this was true of donnie but ol donnie filed bankruptcy I believe 26+ times and caused huge losses to others as he walked away w/ bags of riches. And not sure you are aware of this little known fact nurmy, buuut, scott bessent was a CFO I believe in the Gorge Soros organization for many years!!!

Hmmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔 why would donnie put a george soros guy at the head of our economy! He must be amazing to have worked for the most evil human of our times and then find himself in charge of the largest economy on earth!!!! Weird,, totally weird?

My prediction is we will have digital everything before donnie leaves, banks will practice “bail ins” thereby stealing our money and our debt will be going up by nearly a trillion every 2 months. Does not sounds like a capitalist to me.

But I could be wrong??

The entitlement spending that preceded this administration dates back to decades of incrementalism, starting with FDR. He has successfully added half a trillion dollars in revenue (1% of GDP) by leveraging tariffs, which, incidentally, has helped rebalance trade away from a communist regime. However, the unfortunate reality is that there are no votes in cutting spending. Both Republicans and Democrats are parties of overspending, which is a reflection of an empire in decline (e.g., Ferguson’s law).

Trump is a staunch capitalist, evident in his deal-making approach, most recently reflected by a move away from Chinese rare earth minerals.

The administration aims to alleviate the debt burden through GDP growth. While this seems plausible, the growth requirements to balance the budget appear unlikely.

Hopefully, Americans will wake up and vote for a reduction in entitlement spending. Until then, the logical course of action is to find ways to stimulate our economy, which Trump and Bessent are actively pursuing.

I'm surprised anyone would call Trump a staunch capitalist. His organizations have been named in over 3,500 lawsuits, many of which involve claims from workers, contractors, and professionals (including lawyers and real estate agents) who say Trump or his companies failed to pay them for services rendered. Clearly this is not a hallmark of capitalism. I believe the term "huckster" is more appropriate. Did you buy one of his watches AND actually receive it? How about his bible?

1. He declared bankruptcy on bankruptcy remote special purpose entities that own/operate single real estate assets. He did not declare personal bankruptcy. He got over leveraged in a real estate market cycle. He survived the crash and subsequently grew his brand and net worth.

2. Scott Bessent was a portfolio manager for an investment fund run by Soros. That does not mean Scott Bessent is in philosophical alignment with Soros. What it does mean though is he has an exemplary macro economic background. Scott Bessent is the real deal.

3. Monitor your thinking with the reality of actual outcomes. There is not a doomsday scenario in the near future. The United States is the greatest republic in the history of mankind. We have bounced back from much worse circumstances.

One percent of the blatantly provable corruption of this President and his family would have ended the career of any other president. The chaos this one is creating will not end well for most citizens of the US of A. Today’s deportees may not know how lucky they are today, but will be celebrating when the natural consequences (ie, economic and possibly even additional moral collapses) become manifest. The only “compass”possessed by the one we elected to create peace and prosperity is that of ruinous conflict.

We live in griftopia, at a level never before seen. Latest example (unless there's a newer one--it's impossible to keep up): Trump's social media company, Trump Media and Technology Group, announced Tuesday that it will soon launch a prediction betting marketplace on Truth Social, allowing users to gamble on sports and politics directly on the platform. So let's see, he's launching betting on events over the outcome of which, as president, he might have influence. What could possibly go wrong there....?

Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee is urging the DoJ to investigate Joe Biden for, among other things, peddling access for profit. I watched the committee chair commenting on the committee's findings and one reporter actually had the temerity to ask if that isn't exactly what Trump is doing. And the guy replied that the difference is that Biden did it in secret while Trump is doing it out in the open. Yeah, he really said that. Looking on the brighter side, that suggested to me that we now have a wonderful new addition to defense attorneys' toolkits. Like, say, with the Louvre bandits. Hey, they could argue with the same logic, we didn't do it under cover of darkness, we did it in broad daylight, so where's the criminality....?

It will be us "holding the bag" and the elites off to more exotic locations - billions, probably in gold with them. Anyone that thinks America somehow rights this ship and gets back in the game - drink that kool-aid! The Empire essentially is over and that is for the entire West and its corrupt financial system. The World has moved on. China, Russia, the BRICS, ASEAN, and the Global South are creating a different world and certainly aren't scared of the West anymore. Crypto as a tax dodge? Of course. Make a token, sell a fantasy, call it “governance,” and watch the suits launder ethics with a blockchain receipt. The Trump Boys in it not for innovation, but for the VIP booth. Private profit, public mess. They’re selling governance tokens like carnival wristbands, pay up and you skip the line at accountability. Foreign money buys influence, tokens buy silence, the public pays the cleanup.

They want it because it makes paperwork look like performance art. It’s like they found a loophole and decided to move in. Look at them, seeking tokens, cashing in, then pointing guns for morale, there not defending anything, not the USA, they’re pimping impunity! Promote force then pretend it’s patriotism. Bullshit! Say what you want about leadership, but don’t confuse swagger with stewardship. This ain’t strength, it’s PR with explosives!

Watching them posture with the military and wag a finger at the world is like watching a man in a cheap suit try to flirt by flexing his mortgage. Yeah, so they’re promoting the military like it’s a flavor of the month. That’s fine. You know, when you gotta yell “get outta my country you dirt bags” into a microphone, it usually means you forgot your speechwriter and your policy advisor is on vacation. And the immigration tough-talk? That’s theatre, loud lines for the cameras while the real ledger is being balanced in private. History will remember this administration, not for courage or statesmanship, but for turning national power into a subscription service.

People are getting fed up with it and Trumps antics are merely confirming their belief that the US is not fit to be the issuer of the global reserve currency. You are going to see a tsunami of central bank buying and strong hands in Asia.

And before you ask, there's nobody else that's fit to issue the reserve currency either...
