Thank You Byron. An excellent piece of journalism. Honest and factual. A far, far cry from the claptrap in the Canadian press. Trudeau's handlers were smart enough to buy most of them off along time ago. The Rebel News is the one exception I can think of. Thank you again for telling our story. Stay safe. All the Best.

Excellent article Byron. As someone who lives in Ontario, it is refreshing to have more global awareness of what is transpiring here in Canada. People need to be encouraged and reminded that through demonstrations like this, liberty of the people can be saved.

Thank you for this exposure. In short, the protest is a symptom of a much bigger problem. You will find negative stories about this protest, from the usual suspects (CBC-aka-Communist Broadcast Corp actually is suggesting they are terrorists sponsored by Russia), but all in all it was peaceful and respectful (typically Canadian) and brought the attention desired. Our current leadership is clueless, ignorant and self-servicing and simply spits at anyone who gets in their way (as well calling all racists, bigots and misogynists…and don’t forget xenophobs). I could write a book on our moron of a PM, but I will leave that to you to keep the American public aware!

UMMM - Our current leadership may be ignorant and self-serving but they are NOT clueless. Not by a long shot. They are CONTROLLED and bought off (certainly) by the World Economic Forum of Klaus Schwab (who has openly praised Trudeau as one of the prime graduates of his "Young Leaders" program) and most probably also by the Chinese. It is they who are giving the orders. Many of the leading bureaucrats in this country are all in (and paid off). Trudeau is just the dumb front man. He is a psychopath elected by other psychopaths. We seem to have an abundance of this type in Canada.

But they are NOT clueless. They have a plan and it is coming along exactly as planned.

I thought the RussiaGate reference on CBC was made up. Had to watch it three times before I believed it. Is there an unfundme website?

What a wonderful report, thank you Byron King. How else could we have known what was happening in Canada at this time. USA next?

Thank you Byron for penning this commentary on the "revolution". One has to admire Elon Musk for calling out the governments directive to GoFundMe to redirect the $9 million of funding raised from everyday Canadians from the truckers to other charities. This was reversed in one day, and I believe Musk's tweet was a material factor in calling this out. Massive damage done to the brand of GoFundMe. For the American readers, like all such things, you have to 10X our modest Canadian numbers to get the proper scale. In the US you would have a 450 mile long convoy, 500,000 direct participants, 10's of millions of supporters and $90 million raised from everyday people. Now imagine that $90 million dismissed by Biden and a presidential edict to redirect that funding to other charities? How would that go down? Sadly, there are a lot of Canadians who completely misunderstand what this is all about. They just don't get how simple this is, freedom....period. The attempt to usurp the funding is the best example ever of government overreach regardless of where one stands on the issues. Interestingly, the last surviving First Minister, Brian Peckford (equivalent of a retired long serving US governor) who repatriated Canada's constitution from the UK several decades ago, is launching a court action to take the Federal government to court over a breach of our constitution. He chose the travel bans across provincial and international borders as the basis of the challenge. Historical note, Justin Trudeau's father, Pierre, was the sitting Prime Minister when the constitution was repatriated to Canada. None of this mentioned in the mainstream media. Not a word. I guess irony is lost on them entirely now.

Thank you for this update. Bravo Canadians! You are leading the way against these unjust mandates. Free agency is an essential element in a democracy that desires to remain free (especially for an experimental vaccine that does not prevent infection nor its transmission and is not as safe as they say). Hopefully this battle to stop the mandates will be won soon. However, the people in power have been planning this war against the people for years. They will simply wait for things to calm down and then invent some other emergency to continue their control tactics. One can dream that one day their power will be removed by enacting just laws to limit their excessive wealth and government lobbying (the top 1% have as much as the lower 50%). I truly commend Bonner Private Research for becoming more independent.

This is the kind of visual and vital journalism we need to evoke a response and to encourage doctors to follow their profession, not the dictates of money mongering drug companies and arrogant, ignorant politicians.

Canadians are fair minded folk but now they have awoke.

Please Justin, look out your window and see us raising our flag!

Excellent report, thank you.

But the question remains: is this just a symbolic gesture? Or will it reflect in actual voting, much less changes in the Canadian government?

And thank you for reading... Your question IS the political issue here. Most conventional politicians seem perfectly happy with the current setup. They get to be bigshots, with handsome salaries and perks, plus whatever other graft or residuals come with the job. So while a few may offer lip service to the Prairie Populism on display here (Premiers of Sask & Quebec so far), what will we see come next election? Will other players rise to challenge the incumbents? And will people vote for the newbies? One difference this time is how massive is the popular dissatisfaction. It's evident. And any participant -- truck driver or bridge-waver -- who has looked around has likely come to an astonishing conclusion -- "Hey, it's not just me. There are many others." Now it's the job of mainstream media to bury that anti-govt sentiment via any means possible, all on behalf of the people in power. But that trick might not work this time. Stay tuned, eh?

Mr. King,

Re: voting - indeed.

Sadly, in the US - it is not the least bit clear that obviously popular discontent is going to result in any real change. The Red Wave in November 2022 is prompting the Republican party in the US to field the usual gaggle of hacks since they clearly believe they just need to "not be Biden".

Perhaps Canadians will take a page from Churchill's description of Americans... Who will eventually do the right thing after trying all the other alternatives.

"Perhaps they’ll take a lesson from the U.S. and put a massive steel fence around Parliament"

There is now a 10 foot steel wall around the Centre Block, ie what is known as Parliament, put up with no fanfare or media attention, and it removes much of the front lawn where people mingle freely. Of course, it's painted with murals and information about Canada's history, geography, demographics etc, to make it a bit more palatable, but sad to see nonetheless.

Another piece of hyperbole by the old "gas bag", I drive a truck and I don't know anyone who actually drives and supports these people. We had an election last year and the guys and gals who are running things now won't be around for ever unlike countries like Russia and China.

The critics of the present government will get their chance at the next election which will take place in a year or two, or maybe sooner. All it takes is a vote of non confidence in Parliament.

We are not stuck in the corrupt American system where you were stuck with the "Orange Clown" for for 4 years.
