Lol, the day will come when we depend on our piece, which we will forever hold and defend our right to do so. Iā€™m pretty sure peace is out of the picture at this point šŸ‘

Agree 2022 saw just the bursting of the bubble (excessive risk and values were crushed) while 2023 will see insane volatility. Stocks, rates, currencies, inflation will produce wild swings as markets try to digest where this all goes. It wonā€™t be pretty and we cannot count on leaders at the Fed or in government to soften the impacts of 40 years of awful policy.

Hi Mr. scott -

You assume the "leaders" at the fed or in our "government" have the slightest inclination to soften ANY of the pain they have created and is now, unavoidably, coming our way.

Personally, I don't see them having that sentiment AT ALL...

How was cash a winner? 4% in CDs with 9% inflation! Furthermore you have to bee in CDs, meaning your money is locked up for at least 6 month. I have a little in CDs for 4.6% for another 5 month

I'm loosing money on my cash.

They only way to stay ahead is with tactical trading and there your friend the Director is not to successful. Most of his trades are loosing money ( stopped out after initially being in the money) He has some very good ideas but does not follow them. Maybe that is because he does not buy (by his own admission ) what he recommends.

Hi Peter , I agree with you inflation is 7 % and your cash in short term CD 4 % , now tell me where could you have put your cash and beat 7 % inflation . As Tom says in a bear market with inflation at 7 % it s not a game on making monnaie Ā«Ā yet Ā«Ā  it s to loose the least and stay alive for better time to come .

And Peter thatā€™s not a fair comment Ā«Ā that most of the trades a loosing money Ā«Ā  Peter I follow the trades since 2021 on paper and he is positif . Thatā€™s not taking side Peter it s a fact .

I don't think that's accurate. What he recommended in a former life does not count. That blog exists since Jan 22 ( I could be off by a couple of month). I subscribe to it since March 22.

By the way I did not say I did not like him. I personally have made money of him. His fundamental research is pretty good. Only his timing seems to be off ,I think because he

does not look at charts or read them the right way. For instance GLASF. He bought at 5 and stopped out at 4.25. My GTC order was filled at 2.50 out at 5.. He likes gold, so do I.

He sold a 42 NEM put for 1.50 and he kept the premium as profit. I sold a 40 put and kept the premium. If he read the charts right he would have bought the stock for 38 ( possible even a little lower and ) earning a 5.6 dividend and having a 36 % capital gain

Since the Bonner people believe gold will go to3000 or higher no telling where NEM will

end up. What I'm trying to say is that Tom's recommendations are not bad you only have to use them a little different then he suggests. I'm old and a bottom fisher .I'm using Candle sticks RSI .STO, and the Keltner channel.

Not sure about monetary deflation in our current environment. We had bankruptcies galore in 2008/09 but i canā€™t remember anyone talking about monetary deflation. What will be the signs that we are moving from inflation to deflation?

The chart of M2 rolling over is the first sign

Don't need charts or any past logic for what these demons(democrats and republicans) have brought upon us.

If you think any of the insanity that has happened to our world in the last few years/decades is an accident...you have your head so far up your butt, you honestly believe Joe Biden is the President of these United States...

We need to Organize my fellow American's!

Fight the madness!!!

God Bless America, and those who fight for her!!!
