It's a good thing the next election is almost two years away. Otherwise, the powers that be would be seizing the opportunity to infringe on civil rights and impose their desire to be all knowing tyrants. BTW, Covid is running rampant in Southern California right now. I'm not seeing that being widely reported nationally, but over half the people that work for the County of Los Angeles aren't at work. Here we go (again).
As a contractor that has served the County since 2010 I'm well aware of the ludicrous amount of time off those people get around the holidays. It's another testament to how destructive out of control government is. However, it's not anecdotal. There are reports (locally only) that it's getting bad (Covid that is) and people are wearing masks everywhere. But since they are liberal sheep, that might not mean anything either.

Don't always believe what you hear. The County of L.A. is very generous with holidays.
