OpenAI and Anthropic are both readying mighty IPOs of their own, hoping to scoop up billions so they may go on pouring money into an almost miraculous technology of uncertain value.
I will give Bill one thing, he is consistent. As far as Iran, two words, Hamas and Hezbollah. We killed a couple of birds with one stone with this operation. We have dismantled Iran's military and leadership. We got to punch Russia and China in the nuts at the same time. We got to see that our Europeon allies are not really allies, and we don't owe them anything.
As far as the UFC event at the White House, it was spectacular. The whole event was about our military, police, firemen, and first responders. The military band music and singing was spectacular. Nobody was walking around in drag or topless. Everyone there said that the soul of the event was Patriotism at its finest. President Trump on his birthday at his house held an event that he was not even the star of. There was no mention of racism, politics, or any of the stuff that the media and Bill try to force feed the American People with.
"A mystery surrounded in fog" what? Nobody knows, including the Iranians the "why" of the war...what? Bill you are way too focused on you own insider thoughts and those of the legacy media.
Very pleased with the Iran peace deal. Please discuss the economic benefits of it to USA and the world. Can’t wait to hear Mr. Bonner’s description of the benefits - on a daily basis, of course, as he looks for microscopic negative effects.
Seriously, Scotty! There is NO peace deal. Trump has his version of the Memorandum of Understanding and Iran has its version of it. Has any one seen a written version - I think not. Plus Israel isn't going to leave Lebanon........please.....wake up and smell the coffee.
Just saw an Judge Napolitano and Larry Johnson discussing the "deal" and they agree with you - it ain't over till the fat man signs it. Plus, not only are Israel ministers saying that the deal doesn't affect their actions in Lebanon, Trump fanboy Mark Levin is saying the deal has to go before Congress.
Patrick, I agree with you. It will be GREAT if this works out but even IF the straits are open on Friday, it will take months for commerce to get back to normal. Although it's to Iran's best interest to make this work out, their history on sticking to a plan is not good.
Let's see how long this peace deal lasts. Apparently our "greatest ally" has some problems with it. Here's a quote from the Israeli press: National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir says in a statement: “Trump’s agreement does not bind us. Israel is not subordinate to the United States. We are an independent and sovereign country".
Can't someone in our government tell them that if they don't cooperate US taxpayer dollars stop flowing to them?
The USG will never stop funding Israel as long as its lobby -- AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) -- continues to entice American citizens to put the interests of Israel ahead of America's interests.
AIPAC was created by Israel but, unlike all other similar lobbies, it is not registered as a Foreign Agent.
Of the many lobby groups that seek Federal assistance, benefits and/or redress, AIPAC is reputed to be the most powerful and successful.
Few members of Congress rebuff its entreaties. Those that do are targeted to be "primaried" from office.
I am not shocked; I don't hate but I am mystified why our species is so disposed to kill others because they believe, of the plethora of gods currently revered, that their god is the only true god.
These comments are getting comical. When you get your information from Mark Levine, you get misinformation. For two months Iran has made its requirements known, unchanging.
They control the Strait, want their money back, lift sanctions, no bombing of Lebanon or Gaza. and they do not want to talk about nuclear enrichment. They will never let The US rebuild destroyed bases.
Iran won. They can destroy Israel and the Arab oil States. That is why Trump does not bomb.
There will never be a peace treaty, at most a renewed flow of oil and no hostilities. A cease fire. Trump has announced 38 deals, blustered, and whined and is incapable of changing the situation.
With all of the uncertainty surrounding the terms of the peace agreement in the Epstein Coalition’s war with Iran, only one issue appears certain: There is not a single credible source claiming that Iran will be immediately surrendering the “nuclear dust” that Trump used as one of his ambiguous reasons for going to war. How is that a victory?
And you " know" all of this information how? Did you get an advance copy of yet to released deal? Or are you just relying on your own political prowess? If so, carry-on.
A simple Google would have provided you with more accurate numbers. But then the power of your point may have been a bit diminished. We should also consider the measurement error in your numbers as that would provide a bit of needed credibility and of course fun.
What were the accurate numbers? There is a poll that shows 21% favored a war with 49% against and the rest undecided. So maybe I was wrong but Trump did get a lot of traction during the campaign with his "No more wars" slogan. The point was the use of "us" or "we" when it comes to foreign policy. I identify with "they" or "the government" when it comes to starting useless wars.
Trump did the only thing he could do to get the US out of a quagmire war. He declared “victory” and is pulling back from the hostilities. He has no victory, just an end point. Authority of Jim Rickards from Paradigm Press, DJT only had three choices and none involved a victory certainty. Now, he can dial it back, hopefully get it off the front page, and start worrying about the midterms. He has a lot of work to do to have any hope of keeping the Congress. I predict he loses the House and keeps a slim majority in the Senate. You heard it here first.
Why wouldn't Vance do something like that to improve his chances to be the next president? JD is the ultimate shape shifter. Here's something he said back in 2016: "I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn't be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he's America's Hitler," he wrote privately to an associate on Facebook in 2016.
JD is one of those cynical assholes who will do anything to attain power, including throwing his wife under the bus to curry favor with the evangelicals at Turning Point.
Nobody knew what Iran has done to make us want to bomb it ?
How about next week's post from Tehran while you're posting about the ignorance of their leaders. Oops. I guess you can't post from there. Maybe you should go to belfast with a short drive. Make sure to cover your eyes , your back and where I chain mail turtleneck.
Mr. Bonner wrenches his back reaching all the way back to Caligula when there are far more recent and better examples of presidents entering fighting rings themselves or putting on “gross” spectacles at the White House. For example, Jackson, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt.
The fear that the independent voter has been lost, is actually a reality. Any support that I had for Rumpus was lost when he spoke, “Epstein files? Are we still talking about that?” Capped off by one of his most illustrious comments, “I really don’t care about the American people’s financial situation.” As for Iran, it would appear Rumpus has decided that MIGA is now American foreign policy. Who will have the cajones to cut off the head of the snake?
Ahh Dan & Bill writing about "fables" at your age must seem like a dream ..? maybe we're all in this dream waiting for it to be over .. has there ever been a time that humans have been so self infatuated and caught up in their own importance ? yes of course those wonderful Romans who's empire lasted a bit longer than 250 years .. and now where are they all ? where is all that they built or destroyed .. what purpose did all that kerfuffle have ? ahh well it'll all pass soon eh
what is the source of liquidity for these IPO's? what is getting liquidated? Seems to me it has to blow a hole in something. Redirecting, rebalancing, shuffling that much around has to impact the market(s). If not, might it be akin to throwing some diesel on the fire?

A good follow up Bart.
It was an "Only in America" celebration and it was fun!
"A mystery surrounded in fog" what? Nobody knows, including the Iranians the "why" of the war...what? Bill you are way too focused on you own insider thoughts and those of the legacy media.
...today's missive reminded me of what's his name? Oh, yea...Neville Chamberlain. Maybe Bill has family ties.
Yes, yes I think you've got something there 😉
Double agree!

Jim Marshall
Mr. Negativity is back
Trump may think he's playing everyone.
Indeed, he is playing some.
Seems this is another come-out roll.
Playing to the vested one's on the table.
And I am playing with him...
Trump, a proven shooter just opened with a good number...
Will he make his mark or crap out?

Exactly
Forgot to add loons after liberals Patrick.
They don’t truly understand patriotism
Really disjointed piece. JD Vance leaking Epstein file panic? WTH?
Kind of off topic, Bill, but what do you think about the seeming awakening of the Irish "originarios?"
Nobody knew what Iran did to make us want to bomb it? Wow. Stick with the money beat while you still have some credibility there!
Can you explain to us what Iran did to make "us" want to bomb them? Why use the pronoun "us" when 80% of "us" were against a war with Iran?
A simple Google would have provided you with more accurate numbers. But then the power of your point may have been a bit diminished. We should also consider the measurement error in your numbers as that would provide a bit of needed credibility and of course fun.

We can only hope that Trump goes quietly into the night when his term ends. But I wouldn't count on it.
